Frank the owner is amazing he will work with you and had helped me generously With things. The other emplyees were also awesome they are so helpful and friendly. They are not there to screw people like other shops. They are out there to help. I recommend this establishment to anyone.

They always have great layaway deals. I been coming here since I was a child . I am always greeted with a warm welcome and familiar faces. Never had a problem with pawning or buying from here. Sol's is the only pawn I trust to go to in Kansas City. Don't believe me, go check them out yourselfs.

I recently came across Sol's Jewelry and visited both locations looking for a particular type of ring. I met Mike at the KCK location. He advised me against making a horrible decision of selling a beautiful ring. Mike replaced a stone and had my ring cleaned and polished along with any necessary maintenance. He was very informative and helpful. The customer service at both locations was great!

This is the BEST pawn shop I've EVER been to. Mike (the manager) was so helpful and informative, not to mention their pawn interest prices were the lowest I've ever seen!! If you're looking to shop, they also have a great inventory with very unique, gorgeous pieces. This is definitely a place everyone should visit!!

I took my wife in to get a Mothers Day gift, and the service was hands down EXCELLENT! The place was clean, they were friendly and welcoming, and treated us just like family! For Mothers Day, he even had discounts on all jewelry! It was an amazing experience! We’ll definitely be going back!

Fantastic, reasonably priced service at a local shop. Took two necklaces here to get repaired a few weeks ago. Either met the owner or a long-time employee who was superbly personable and made me feel welcome instantly. One necklace was 18K and very delicate, and they determined they would need to send it off to be resoldered to repair it. I was quoted a reasonable price given the repair requirements and it took only 1-2 weeks to get a call letting me know I could pick it up. They did great with the repair -- I can't tell at all where they had to resolder it. The other necklace I brought in to them was a cheap chunky chain necklace that needed one of its chains rehooked and the owner/employee kindly repaired this for me free of charge while I was there. If you need any kind of jewelry repair, whether it's a valuable piece or not, I'd highly recommend!

The owner is a kind individual willing to talk numbers. After a thorough search I found Sol’s Jewelry and Pawn to be the highest bidder for used jewelry and scrap gold in the Kansas City area. It has been my experience most pawn shops will use trickery to disguise their low ball offers. Don’t waste your time at other pawn shops

I went in to get some info on a few pieces I had inherited as I was curious about their origin. I was greeted by Mike himself and he couldn't have been more helpful while carrying such a pleasant attitude and zest for what he does everyday. I walked away with my mother's wedding ring cleaned on the house. It was shining like it did over 20 years ago. I couldn't stop looking at it after I left! He knows his stuff and will take the time to help you. You're crazy if you pass on this little gem of a shop! I was incredibly impressed. Highly recommended!

“One stop shop!” The store is clean, and organized. Everything is on display, and easy to view. Affordable pricing, and to die for deals. Mike, and NeeNee we’re both very pleasant and patient. I went to Sol's in KCK to get my ring 💍 sized n I talked to Mike and he suggested that I get it shanked I'm glad I took his advice it turned out beautiful. I used the pawn services, and even though I showed up 15 mins to close, they still took the time to give us amazing service past closing time due to the volume of items we brought in. The technician was knowledgeable and walked us through the process, even gave solid advice on the items. It's was processed through weight of the gold or silver, not the gems, which we were told upfront and throughout the process. They seriously were amazing, kind, through, and patient. I fully recommend this location.

I would definitely recommend this place. Prices were good and everything was on sale 50% and more. Mike was very helpful, I gave him a price range I was trying to stay at, and he lowered the price of a ring I liked rather than trying to upsell me like most other jewelry stores. Staff was very kind, helpful, and friendly.

Better than advertised. Chose to go there because i was in a bind. Pawned some rings that I wasnt expecting much for, other than a loan for scrap value. After reading other reviews, I was hoping for a loan around 200. They offered me a little more than i was hoping for and really helped me out. I have lived on the west coast, the east coast and a few places in between. Ive used pawn shops all over and i would rate my experience at Sol's near the top of any of them. Highly recomend for any of your jewelry needs be it buy sell or pawn.

My Fiance and I went here to get my ring sized just after the holidays. Mike, the manager there, said it would be anywhere from 5 to 10 business days for it to be done but we were going on vacation. He said he would have my ring done the Saturday before we left but it was done the following Tuesday after dropping it off, they had my ring done 4 days after getting it! The pricing was the best around and my ring came back shinning! Will definitely be going back for any other jewelry needs!
